Commuters travelling through Waterloo in London were recently treated to an impressive performance by the Southern Golden Retreivers Display Team, which took over the station for the day.
The appearance was in support of the troupe’s sponsor, pet food brand, Vet’s Kitchen, which has launched an awareness-raising campaign about pets’ health, and sponsors the display team.
In a first for Waterloo Station, the display team created a range of geometric shapes to music. In between displays, visitors were also entertained by dancing dog champion, Skiffle, four-time winner of Freestyle Heelwork to Music at Crufts and Heelwork to Music, with owner, Lucy Creek.
Qualified vets, veterinary nurses and pet nutritional advisors were on hand to talk about the benefits of advanced pet nutrition and how ingredients can have a positive benefit on health. Visitors to the event were also able to pick up free samples of Vet’s Kitchen food.
Managing Director and practising vet at Vet’s Kitchen, Jenny Philp, said: “We’re passionate about educating the nation on feeding the right food to our four-legged companions and as experienced vets, we know that a well-balanced and nutritious diet is a key factor for keeping pets happy and healthy.
“The event this week at Waterloo marked the start of our brand new campaign to raise awareness that just like us, our pets are what they eat. If there is no sufficient proof that an ingredient has a positive impact on an animal’s health.”
